| During the last week, Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
We executed the routine monthly procedure to update the onboard ephemeris coefficients. Transmission grating observations of Comet c/LINEAR 1999, planned for next week, have been cancelled due to the spectacular breakup of the comet. Testing of the new release of the Off-line system, version 9.0, has been completed. OFLS 9.0 is ready for installation as operating software. The planned observations for the coming week are as follows: |
