Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 12 April 2024 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was executed on Apr 11 to uplink a flight software patch that updates specific thermal primary, secondary and tertiary database HRMA heater set points, dead band, read modes and affected health check thresholds. This will improve the fidelity of temperature readouts and the HRMA health check safing monitor. Additional real-time procedures were executed on Apr 11-12 to dump OBC-A and -B memory as a follow-up to the patch. The dump will be used to update the baseline memory images maintained on the ground.

The schedule, with a planned start of Apr 15, is still in work.

All spacecraft subsystems continued to support nominal operations.
