During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A real-time procedure was executed on Jan 23 to update the ACIS Flight Software. This patch will force a science run to end when it is commanded to do so by the OBC, for instance when the science loads are autonomously interrupted. The patch also includes functionality to monitor the Digital Processing Assembly component temperatures and optionally initiate safing actions if an out of limit value occurs. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes observations of 2MASS J10422211+1641151 coordinated with NuSTAR and an observation of MWC 560 coordinated with XMM-Newton. |
