Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 28 October 2016 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Of note this week was the release on Oct 27 of CXCDS 10.5.2 for standard processing, which completes the deprecation of use of the Slang scripting language in the Data System.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below aan includes an observation of Proxima Cen, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Sep 1, an observation of GRS 1739-278 which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Sep 21 and is coordinated with the VLA and NuSTAR, and an observation of M82 offset 2 coordinated with NuSTAR.
