Operations CXO Status Report

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A series of real-time procedures were completed on May 25 to dump the OBC-A flight software image. The dump was performed in support of a flight software re-compilation activity.

A Chandra image release was issued on 23 May describing spectral observations of 300 galactic black holes in the Chandra Deep Field North and South that have allowed the determination of the amount of iron near the black holes. For details see http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2005/felines/
