Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 30 November 2018 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was executed on Nov 26 to perform a full-frame dark current readout of the Aspect Camera Assembly CCD during a standard one-hour comm pass. A second real-time procedure was executed on Nov 26 to turn off thermal control for the unused gyros.

The schedule of targets for the next two weeks is shown below and includes observations of 46P/Wirtanen, which are coordinated with HST, an observation of AT2018gep, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity which was accepted on Sep 23, an observation of SN 2018ivc, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Nov 26, an observation of SN 2011ja, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Feb 26, and observations of an OMC Disk Sample, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Sep 7.
