Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 7 March 2003, 11.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Of note last week was the approval by the Flight Director Board of the transition to DSS-24 following its upgrade to DSN's next generation NSP (Network Simplfication Project) equipment. Following an initial problem identifed during testing, the system is now ready to support Chandra.

The Chandra Cycle 5 proposal deadline is March 14 at 7pm EST.

The observing schedule for next week is shown below.
