Operations CXO Status Report
Friday 14 February 2003, 8.30am EST
During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
Chandra passed through the seventh and eighth eclipses of the Spring
2003 season on 8 and 11 of Feb with nominal power and thermal
performance. Real-time procedures were run following each eclipse to
disable the Momentum Unload subfunction in the flight software to
ensure momentum dumps remain under manual control. A procedure to
clear a glitch counter that incremented during eclipse exit was also
run on 11 Feb.
A real-time procedure was completed on Feb 12 to update the on-board
ephemeris.
The observing schedule for next week is shown below and includes a
series of Calibration observations of AR Lac with the HRC.
