June 8, 1999Shuttle managers approved a plan that will have Columbia ready for launch no earlier than July 20.The end-to-end test on Chandra/Inertial Upper Stage was successfully completed in the Vertical Processing Facility. Columbia was rolled out of the Vehicle Assembly building on June 7, and placed on Launch Pad 39B. |
